An exciting secondment / fixed-term opportunity as has arisen at the Bethlem Adolescent Unit. We are keen to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated person who can embrace the challenge of working in this CAMHS adolescent inpatient setting for a 12 month period.

The successful candidate will act as a role model to junior nursing staff, providing therapeutic interventions to a group of young people, both individual and group.

They will deputise for the Ward Manager in supervising and managing the nursing team, ensuring a high quality of nursing care at all times. They will oversee the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care given to a group of service users, and ensure records associated with this process are maintained.

The post holder will also act as a primary nurse to a specific group of young people. This may include the co-ordination of care of service users liaising with other members of the multidisciplinary team where necessary.
