We are looking for Physiotherapist to join the Lishman Unit who will be responsible for Clinical delivery of specialist physiotherapy at the Lishman Inpatient Neuropsychiatric Rehabilitation Unit. To assess, treat and manage their own caseload of patients as an autonomous practitioner in accordance with the standards and codes of practice of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), and in accordance to SLaM’s commitments. To be responsible for providing high standard efficient and effective specialist physiotherapy to patients with Functional Neurological Disorders (FND)/ Persistent physical symptoms and Acquired brain injury in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

To work as an effective team member, communicating appropriately with patients, carers and other members of the MDT. To use relevant clinical outcomes and develop clear physiotherapy goals which can be support by the rehabilitation support workers and the nursing team. To be able to effectively communicate and help further develop rehabilitation support workers within the unit.

The post holder may be required to work some weekends as the services are working toward 7 day service.
