Info about the Service:
Our Forensic Offender Health pathway provides care and treatment for individuals experiencing mental health issues who also pose a risk to the public.
Our inpatient secure service supports people who, as a consequence of their mental health needs, have had contact with the legal system and require a safe and secure environment that enables them to receive a wide range of treatments, therapies and care to assist in their recovery.
Based on Bethlem Royal Hospital in Beckenham, London, River House is 89 bedded purpose built Medium Secure Unit for patients who need care and treatment in a secure environment. We also provide mental health services at HMP Wandsworth.

Norbury Ward - Forensic Medium Secure Psychiatric Intensive Care ward for people with a broad spectrum of acute and enduring mental health needs.
Waddon Ward - Forensic Intensive Psychological Treatment service (FIPTS) for men with severe personality disorder.
Spring Ward - Forensic Medium Secure treatment for women who have a range of mental health needs.
Brook Ward - Forensic Medium Secure treatment for men who are close to recovery and moving towards independence.
Effra Ward - Forensic Medium Secure treatment for men who are close to recovery and moving towards independence.
Chaffinch - Low secure pre-discharge ward for men.
Thames - Where all patients are first admitted to determine what treatment and care they need within the unit.

Application Requirements: Registered Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Nurses. We also take Newly Qualified RMNs and RNLDs qualifying in the next 3 months.
Unfortunately due to the nature of this service we unable accept applications from RGNs or RNAs
If successful at shortlisting stage you will be invited to an assessment on the Friday, 18th May 2018 at the ORTUS learning and events centre.
**Please note that if you do not state the month and year that you have completed your Nursing qualification you will not be invited to the assessment.**
