We are looking to recruit a number of caring, dynamic and innovative Band 5 nurses to join our internationally renowned eating disorder unit in South London. The unit provides a safe healing space where people can explore their difficulties and gain control over their eating disorder, working one-to-one, within a group and as part of their family. You will be responsible for ensuring our service users engage with personalised care packages and agree therapeutic goals to establish regular healthy eating patterns and working towards a healthy weight.

Tyson West 2 Eating Disorders Inpatient Unit is based at the Bethlem Royal Hospital. The team supports 18 service users who have anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder or mixed eating disorder symptoms. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop clinical skills in a highly specialised service with an excellent reputation. You will be a key part of a very experienced nursing and multi-disciplinary team which aim to provide patients with the highest level of care.

You will be an active supporter of the team which develops Trust as well as National initiatives to promote person centred care for patients and their Carers. There are many opportunities for learning and development including research projects that are funded by the national health foundation that contribute to your ongoing learning and CPD. The post holder will receive on-going support through internal training and both individual and team supervision.

You must be a newly/qualified RMN or in the final year of your RMN course, qualifying in the next 3 months. It’s important that you have an understanding of multidisciplinary services and the challenges that face people with mental health problems. We are keen to hear about what you can contribute to our team’s quality and to support the continued diversity of our workforce. Applicants should have a willingness to learn about eating disorders as well as a basic knowledge of working with clients with mental health needs and the treatment packages commonly available to this group of clients. We want to hire staffs that are passionate about mental health, who believe in our recovery model and who will act as advocates for the reduction of stigma in our community.

If successful at shortlisting stage you will be invited to an assessment on the Friday, 18th May 2018 at the ORTUS learning and events centre.

**Please note that if you do not state the month and year that you have completed your Nursing qualification you will not be invited to the assessment.**
