We have an exciting opportunity within the Lambeth Treatment Team (PMIC CAG), for a full-time secondment or fixed term 8a CBT Specialist: Lead Community Practitioner for 12 months, this may be extended.
We are looking for an experienced CBT Therapist who has experience of treating adults in secondary care. The focus of the role would be working with complex clients currently on the waiting list. It’s an opportunity to work with clients within their home environment and at the team base, depending on their presentation. It’s also a great opportunity to be part of an MDT with regards to discussions and working alongside other team members.
Presentations of clients are complex and often require some care coordination function within the role. The clients seen include housebound agoraphobia, complex trauma, hoarding, OCD, Health anxiety.
Clinical supervision will be available from within the team or CADAT.
The post holder will have an overview of CBT within the service, including the pathway to other specialist CBT provision. The post holder will also have leadership responsibilities as a senior clinician within our generic team.
This post will suit a candidate who is keen to support service development and the development of CBT within a busy service.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
