South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) are currently looking an IT Administration Assistant to play an active role the on-going ICT transformation and modernisation of technology across the Trust. The IT Administration Assistant will be critical to the success of this transformation and will play a key role in providing governance across the ICT Operational Services department ensuring successful delivery of the IT Administration Service.

The role will manage the day-to-day relationship and request fulfilment with all users across the Trust and will be expected to promote and drive the use of ITIL good practices across the team and throughout the Trust

The role will be based in Bromley and will be required to support teams across a number of sites in South London. The role will work closely with the rest of the ICT department to ensure they provide operational efficiency and above SLA performance for the delivery of all IT Administration Services to the Trust. Driving efficiency, good practice and a passion for every customer getting an excellent service will be core to the role as well as mentoring junior staff within the team.

We are looking for candidates with experience of procurement, invoicing, goods receipting, auditing, recharges, improving process, escalation of tickets and a strong track record of maintaining SLAs. It is important that you have a real passion for your work and set yourself high standards of customer service. We want someone who will drive process improvements and assist the IT Administration Supervisor in bringing customer excellence to all aspects of the role. There is a real opportunity to develop in a highly dynamic and visible role within a large organisation.

We work closely with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), King's College London and are part of King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre.
