We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, dynamic, motivated, confident and flexible individual to join our expert eRostering Team. You will have robust knowledge/experience of HealthRoster version 10.8.1/2 and associated packages (at System Administrator level) required to carry out the responsibilities of this role, and will have experience of successfully implementing eRostering to all staffing groups. You will have the skills to challenge current practice in a supportive manner.
You will be very self-motivated, be able to work at a fast pace, able to deal with issues independently and effectively. You will also be the first point of contact with users for advice, guidance, support and training on all aspects of eRostering.
You will be involved in project work with strong cross department working, including varied disciplines and staff groups and use specialist knowledge to provide technical support for Trust users. You will have an understanding of the staffing issues and working patterns that affect complex multidisciplinary teams in the NHS, and the intricacies involved in planning shift work.
You will have excellent IT and interpersonal skills, be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, have a flexible approach to work and also enjoy working as part of a team within a demanding and busy environment. You will have an understanding of the clinical environment and be able to advise on methods of improving rostering practices for all staff groups that will benefit patients and drive out financial savings. You will be a great communicator and be well organised and able to work to deadlines.
You must be educated to degree level or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge gained through experience. Strong computer skills and experience of analysing and interpreting information is also essential.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
