We are looking for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work alongside other members of a large, well-established secondary care Psychological Therapies team.

CIPTS provides assessment, consultation and psychological therapy for adults with complex mental health difficulties across the Borough of Croydon. CIPTS comprises a dedicated and well-established team of Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, Psychotherapists in CAT and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. The service is committed to implementing NICE Guidelines and ensuring evidence-based practice but there is also an appreciation of the value of a range of psychotherapeutic models with a complex client group.

This post will focus primarily on providing psychological assessment and CBT treatment to people with complex depression and/or anxiety disordered presentations where there is co-morbidity, treatment resistance or associated personality and interpersonal difficulties. A significant proportion of our referrals are for complex PTSD including refuges and asylum seekers.
