The Trust has invested in the Microsoft Business Intelligence using SQL Server 2016 including Analysis Servers Tabular Cubes, hosted within the Azure cloud. We are looking for candidates with proven experience of developing and managing a Business Intelligence Architecture using this technology stack.

The role is pivotal in supporting the modernisation and service transformation agendas of the organisation, encompassed by the Quality Improvement Strategy. Being the technical lead this require close working with clinical and business service leads to ensure the BI developers continuously deliver technical solutions to meet the needs of the Trust within this strategic framework.

The role will work closely with the Performance Team, clinical service leads, business managers and the Digital Services (IT) department. The post will be based in Croydon and the post holder will be occasionally expected to travel to other offices within the organisation.

Being the technical lead you need ensure that best practices and technology adoptions are being utilised to enhance products and customer experience. Driving efficiency, good practice and a passion for every customer getting an excellent service will be core to the role as will developing and mentoring staff within the team.

It is important that you have a real passion for your work and set yourself high standards of customer service and a tenacious attitude. An eye for detail is a must. We want a born leader, someone who will act as an inspiration to the team by leading from the front and coaching and developing others. Negotiation skills and project management skills will be required to be successful in the role. There is a real opportunity to develop in a highly dynamic and visible role within a large organisation.
