This is an exciting band 6 opportunity to work within a well established, staffed, resourced and respected Community Mental Health Team in Croydon.

Working with older adults who have a range of mental health difficulties and dementia, requires specialist care coordination, assessment and interventions to manage their needs.

The post will involve Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to Older adults with mental health difficulties and/or dementia, across the Royal London Borough of Croydon. We have a strong commitment to multi-professional working within the clinical team, focussing on reducing risk and enhancing patient well-being.

We are looking to recruit a resourceful Occupational Therapist who is experienced in the physical and mental health needs of older adults and has the drive and motivation to work with a well- established MDT in providing responsive care for our patient population.

We offer a number of development opportunities including regular supervision, comprehensive CPD packages and the opportunity to be involved in the development of the Occupational Therapy service.
All staff members take part in a comprehensive induction and there will be opportunities to develop clinical and specialist skills in this area.

There are opportunities to participate in research projects and Quality Improvement initiatives, including developing meaningful activity groups and a Service User and Carers Advisory Group.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
