An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Older Adult Liaison Psychiatry Team at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust with this new Consultant post based at Croydon University Hospital.
This post is a new substantive 0.6wte consultant role working principally with the older population, and created in line with the NHS England Core 24 initiative. You will be part of a growing multidisciplinary liaison psychiatry service in Croydon, with specialisms in child, general adult and older adult liaison psychiatry.
As part of the Mental Health for Older Adults, and Psychological Medicine and Integrated Care Clinical Academic Groups and King's Health Partners, the major focus of our service is on delivering research and excellence in clinical care across mental and physical health. We are a popular placement for international students. We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and patient centred individual, with outstanding communication skills to join us in this exciting new role.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
