We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic clinical or counselling psychologist to join this friendly and well established community perinatal team.

You will be working alongside an extremely experienced clinical psychologist who has established the role of Perinatal psychology in Croydon over many years. You will also join a wider group of psychologists and psychotherapists working across community and inpatient settings within Slam Perinatal Services and will benefit from the range of expertise available within our service.

We offer specialist perinatal supervision and excellent peer support and opportunities to develop practice across the pathway. We are in the process of developing our psychological therapy services to increase the range of evidence based interventions that we can offer our clients.

The development of perinatal mental health services is to be able to support more women and mitigate the impact of maternal mental illness on the next generation is a national priority. At South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust we have been enhancing our services across Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham with funding from the first wave of money.  With the release of a second wave of funding, we are now expanding our service in Croydon.  As part of this expansion, we are increasing our psychology provision in Croydon..
