South London and Maudsley is looking to recruit a small number of Occupational Therapists to join its rotation scheme. It is a well-established, large mental health rotation providing opportunities to work in a variety of mental health settings across the inpatient and community landscape. These are great developmental roles and you will be supported to develop the skill set to succeed in occupationally focused, occupational therapy practice roles as well as care coordination.

The rotation is made up of year-long rotations that will support you as a newly qualified Occupational Therapist. Within this rotation there is opportunity for you to gain a wide perspective in a range of clinical areas. This is an opportunity to work in an organisation that supports innovation and helps you and develop a broad portfolio of transferable clinical skills.

We have a well-established role development programme and excellent training opportunities will be available to you, including weekly supervision, annual appraisal, regular role development workshops, preceptorship for the newly qualified, local peer support groups, an annual conference and many opportunities to develop your competencies for working towards a Band 6 role
