We are looking for a dynamic inspiring leader, someone who is enthusiastic, innovative and wants to join the management team on Nelson Ward.

Nelson Ward is an 18-bed female acute service for assessment and treatment based at Lambeth Hospital. We support and care for some of the most vulnerable service users from our community. We work within a specialist multi-disciplinary team, delivering high quality care to patients experiencing acute mental illness.

The team benefits from having an experienced Consultant, Speciality doctor, dedicated OT and Psychologist. Staff can benefit from professional development opportunities and we will work with you to build your career in mental health. In addition, our working relationship with King's Health Partners allows those working at the Trust to get involved in academic research.

The successful candidate will lead the dedicated multi-professional team in providing care for female service users. The candidate will need to be passionate about high quality patient care and have experience in leadership. The post holder will be a ‘self-starter’ and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a multi professional team.

We believe that frontline clinical leadership is essential to improving patient experience and outcomes, and offer opportunities for development, training and support. We are a forward thinking service and welcome new ideas and improved ways of working to
