We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic radiographer with an interest in clinical and research neuroimaging to join our friendly team in the Neuroimaging Department.
The department is situated on the Denmark Hill Campus, in the Centre for Neuroimaging Sciences at the Maudsley Hospital and in the Clinical Research Facility at King's College Hospital. The Maudsley is internationally recognised for its clinical and research work, with a close clinical and academic partnership with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King's College London. The Institute is Europe's largest centre for research and post-graduate education in psychiatry, psychology and basic and clinical neuroscience. The department also works in collaboration with the regional neurosciences centre at King's College Hospital and is part of King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre.
The department currently has three MRI scanners. You will have the opportunity to develop skills in scanning at 3T, MR Spectroscopy, functional MRI and diffusion imaging as well as performing a wide range of research and clinical structural MRI studies. You will be a radiographer able to work to a high degree of accuracy and pay attention to detail. You should have post-qualification experience in MRI.
This is a full-time position, but applications will also be considered from candidates wishing to work part-time or to job-share.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
