Substantive Consultant Psychiatrist - Croydon Older Adult CMHT: 7 PAs 


A vacancy has arisen for a part-time Consultant Psychiatrist post covering the south sector in the Croydon Older Adult Community Mental Health Team in the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust to provide clinical leadership and  service development. The post is based at Heavers Resource Centre, 122 Selhurst Rd, London SE25 6LL. The post is 7 sessions per week, 9am to 5pm for 3 days and 9am to 1pm on the 4th day.
The suitably qualified candidate will provide clinical leadership to the south part of Croydon in the Croydon older adult CMHT. Team leadership skills and expertise in the assessment and management of older adults in crisis and with long term psychiatric conditions are required.  There are also opportunities to develop further links with primary care and allied agencies have experience in clinical service provision in old age psychiatry. Teaching skills and ability to use QI methodology in practice are also required.
