SLaM is looking to recruit Band 5 Occupational Therapists to join its expanding (over 30 posts) Band 5 rotation scheme. We have a small number of vacancies in our rotation specifically in our community services. As we move to borough based services these will be great developmental roles and you will be supported to develop a skill set that incorporates care coordination and occupationally focused, occupational therapy practice.
The rotation is made up of year-long rotations that will support you as a newly qualified Occupational Therapist. Within this rotation there is opportunity for you to gain a wide perspective in a range of clinical areas. The variety of posts gives Band 5s a great opportunity to develop a wide skill set working as an occupational therapist in mental health. This is an opportunity to work in an organisation that supports innovation and helps you and develop a broad portfolio of transferable clinical skills.
We have a well-established role development programme and excellent training opportunities will be available to you, including weekly supervision, annual appraisal, regular role development workshops, preceptorship for the newly qualified, local peer support groups, an annual conference and many opportunities to develop your competencies for working towards a Band 6 role.
Interview Dates: 30th April 2018 & 1st May 2018
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
