We employ around 4,800 people across South London and other sites in the UK. It is a diverse team of talented individuals, spanning a wide range of specialities and benefiting from many world-leading healthcare experts. We deliver more than 14,000 training experiences each year for our staff, providing an extensive range of learning opportunities. Staff can benefit from exceptional professional development opportunities and we will work with you to build your career in mental health. In addition, our working relationship with King's Health Partners allows those working at the Trust to get involved in academic research.
The Southwark Assessment & Liaison Service is looking for a dynamic, hard working individual to join this front facing team. This post requires someone who can offer sound clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously when needed across the borough.
The successful candidate will need to be able to develop positive working relationships with community partners in particular general practitioners and to be committed to working with people for whom contact with our team may be their first encounter with secondary mental health services.
It is expected that you will be competent in assessment skills and have a good knowledge and understanding of a range of mental health conditions. If you would like to develop your skills in a friendly and supportive team we would like to hear from you.
We are committed to helping to develop the people that come to work with us. We know that the Trust can only be as good as the people who work here and we’ll invest in you to maximise that potential. That’s why we really welcome and value people so highly. In short, if you’ve got what it takes we’d be delighted for you to come and work with us.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
