We are looking for two highly skilled and experienced CBT therapists to join us part time at this well established centre of excellence which provides treatment to people with anxiety disorders.

The postholders will be responsible mainly for delivering specialist assessment and therapy, along with supervision and training as required. As these posts will be developing our evening clinic, postholders will be required to work a minimum of two evenings per week. Postholders will receive significant specialist supervision as part of their role.

These posts are open to new staff or to existing SLaM staff members wishing to apply for a secondment to CADAT.

The Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma’s remit includes the delivery and dissemination of empirically validated cognitive-behavioural treatments for panic disorder, social phobia, post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and body dysmorphic disorder.

The clinic provides a model of best practice in the integration of research, development and clinical treatment. Most of the treatments delivered were developed by former directors of the clinic and are considered to be at the cutting edge of developments in the field.
