We are looking for forward-thinking, enthusiastic Employment Specialists to join our new Individual Placement & Support (IPS) team at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

Your role will be to support people with severe and enduring mental health conditions, such as Psychosis, into paid employment.  You will work as part of a clinical team alongside a range of mental health professionals, providing employment advice and guidance to service users, family members and carers. In addition you will work closely with a range of employers to identify job opportunities and ensure that your clients find paid employment that is suitable for them.

Key to this role is a passion for supporting service users into employment and a strong commitment to challenging stigma and reducing social exclusion.  Experience of working in an IPS service is desirable but not essential as full training on the IPS model will be provided.

There are two new full-time Employment Specialist positions available for Croydon.

If you are successful in being shortlisted, you will be invited to attend an assessment centre on the 7th or 8th October. If you are successful at assessment centre you will then be invited to attend an interview on the 14th October.
